Inspired by countless articles and influencers advocating for digital detoxes, I decided to take the plunge and disconnect from my online life. The plan was simple: spend a whole day offline to reconnect with myself.
However, reality had other plans, and my digital detox journey lasted a mere two hours.
Here’s how it all unfolded and what I learned from my brief escape.
The Decision to Detox
The constant barrage of notifications, the endless scrolling through feeds, and the pressure to stay updated had taken a toll on my mental health.
